Sophie Quirk and Jenna Legg Join in Holiday Camp Fun
The Club’s Official Charity runs holiday camps in Oxford and Banbury during school breaks. The camps are for boys and girls of all abilities from the ages of five to 13-years-old. They take place in a fun and safe environment, mixing football fun with skill-based activities.
During the October half-term, Legg and Quirk took time out of their days to surprise children at our girls-only football camp. The girls had the chance to play with their Oxford United heroes when each player joined a team and took part in a mini tournament.
Following this, the players took part in a Q&A session with the children, sharing advice from their careers so far. The questions ranged from Jenna’s captain responsibilities, to how many goals Sophie has scored so far, to how the season has unfolded so far.
Oxford United Women have had an unstoppable start to the 2026/27 campaign and currently sit top of the WNL Southern Premier Division. Liam Gilbert’s side are unbeaten in all competitions and will welcome second-place Fulham to the MGroup Stadium on Sunday 22 November as the battle for promotion to WSL 2 continues.
