Governance

Oxford United in the Community is the official Charity of Oxford United Football Club. It operates as a legally separate registered charity which is affiliated to and supported by the Club but which operates independently on a ‘not for profit’ basis.

Oxford United in the Community (formerly Oxford United FC Youth & Community Sports Trust) is a registered charity, number 1125173 and a Private Limited Company by guarantee without share capital, company number 06621199.

We are governed by our Board of Trustees and undertake activities according to our charitable objects which you can find HERE. You can read about our Mission and Values HERE.

We are very grateful for the funding and support received from EFL in the Community, the Premier League Charitable Fund and the Professional Footballers’ Association as well as the support of Oxford United Football Club, the Oxfordshire FA and all other funders and partners – without whom our work would not be possible.

Equality Diversity and Inclusion

At Oxford United in the Community, we want everyone to feel welcome, respected and
able to take part.

As the official charity of Oxford United Football Club, we work with people from across
Oxfordshire through sport, education and community programmes. We know that
people come to us with different backgrounds, experiences and needs. We believe that
this diversity strengthens our charity and the communities we serve.

We are committed to creating an environment where people are treated fairly and with
dignity and respect. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying or exclusion
in any form.

Our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion applies across all areas of our work,
including our programmes, volunteering, recruitment, partnerships, community
engagement and governance. We want our activities to be accessible, inclusive and
responsive to the needs of the people and communities we serve.

This means we will work to reduce barriers to participation, improve access for under
represented and marginalised groups, listen to different voices and experiences, and
continue to learn and improve over time.

Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy sets out how we will do this in practice,
including how concerns can be raised and how accountability is managed across the
charity.

or share feedback, please contact Oxford United in the Community via email
