New Futsal Holiday Camps this Easter with Oxford United in the Community
Oxford United in the Community’s ever-popular football camps are back this Easter.
As the Official Charity of Oxford United, Oxford United in the Community runs Holiday Camp programmes for boys and girls of all abilities, aged 5 to 13, throughout the school holidays. These courses aim to inspire youngsters to improve their health and wellbeing, as well as their technical ability in playing football.
Camps are running this Easter in the following locations;
- The Oxford Academy, Easter 30 March – 2 April & 7 April to 10 April, Mixed ages 5-13
- The Oxford Academy, 30 to 2 April, Girls only ages 5-13
- Easington Sports FC, 7 to 9 April, Mixed ages 5-11
- The Oxford Academy, Futsal Camp – 7 and 8 April, Mixed Ages 5-11
- The Oxford Academy, Futsal Tournament – 9 and 10 April, Mixed U7s, U8s, U9s and U10s
Oxford United in the Community Holiday Camps start from £25 per day, and there is a 20% discount available for Season Ticket Holders. Please get in touch with [email protected] for how to claim the discount.
By participating in our football camps, you will also be directly supporting the charity’s wider work, as all income from the holiday camps is reinvested to support our programmes across Oxfordshire. To learn more about the work your booking would support, click HERE.
The activities aim to develop respect, sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, and discipline within a safe, engaging environment.
Our coaches mix fun sessions with skill-based activities. The day consists of a warm-up, activities based around particular skills (passing, turning, dribbling, shooting, etc.), and ‘mini matches’ in the afternoon.
These courses give players a stage for them to learn, develop, and showcase their skills, and give themselves a path to progress into one of our development centres if we feel they have outstanding characteristics.
Oxford United in the Community coaching staff are fully FA qualified and have up-to-date qualifications, including safeguarding, first aid, and DBS checks.
Where available, courses may receive a player visit from the men’s or women’s first teams.
