Martin Keown Announced for September Manor Club
The former Arsenal and England defender will join Peter Rhoades-Brown at the Cowley Workers Social Club at 12:00pm on Wednesday 2 September.
Launched in 2017 by Oxford United in the Community, the Manor Club for Over-50s brings together senior Oxford United supporters to spend an afternoon in the company of a guest speaker. The social initiative is about to enter its tenth season of delivery and aims to reduce the risk of older U’s fans developing feelings of loneliness and isolation by creating new connections with likeminded people.
Chris Lowes, COO at Oxford United in the Community, said: “We’re really excited to begin a new season of Manor Club delivery with Martin Keown as the first guest.
“It’s one of our most popular initiatives and we can’t wait to see our regular attendees and welcome new faces.”
Please note, the Manor Club will be a cashless event this season so to attend next Wednesday’s event, you must purchase a ticket online or from the ticket office at the Kassam Stadium.
To secure your place, please book online www.oufc.co.uk, call 01865 337533 or visit the ticket office.
