Oxford United in the Community Donate Baby Bibs to Local Families

10th July 2026
Oxford United in the Community have supported families across Oxfordshire by donating baby bibs to local charities and organisations.

Two boxes of Oxford United baby bibs were donated to SSNAP (Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents), who support sick and premature babies and their families at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

In the UK, one in seven babies need specialist care at birth, and SSNAP also help to fund training for NHS staff, and support research that improves outcomes for sick and premature babies.

The donation was particularly special as it was hand-delivered by two players from Oxford United in the Community’s Elite Development Centre, who both spent time in special care when they were born, with their families receiving support at the time from SSNAP.

The remaining bibs were also handed out at a local football tournament, and given to Swim Kids Oxford for their newest swimmers and families.

Matt Harding, Assistant Football Development Manager at Oxford United in the Community, said:

“I had a conversation with Siobhan and we were delighted to make a connection with SSNAP and Swim Kids Oxford, and donate a set of baby bibs.

“Oxford United in the Community are pleased to be supporting families across the county, including those working with SSNAP who may be going through a difficult time at the moment.”
