Will Vaulks attends the Manor Club

7th November 2025

Will Vaulks visited the Manor Club to deliver an exclusive talk to senior U’s supporters.

To conclude EFL Week of Action, the Oxford United midfielder visited a sold-out Cowley Workers Social Club for November’s edition of the Manor Club.

The EFL’s annual Week of Action takes place from Monday 3 to Friday 7 November 2025 and celebrates the collective impact of Football Club charities across the League.

While managers and first team players actively support their Club’s community activities all year round, the Week of Action provides an opportunity for them to meet participants and engage in some of the most innovative projects that are improving the quality of people’s lives.

Launched in 2017 by Oxford United in the Community, the Manor Club for Over 50s brings together senior Oxford United supporters to spend an afternoon in the company of a guest speaker.

The social initiative is in its ninth season of delivery and aims to reduce the risk of older U’s fans developing feelings of loneliness and isolation by creating new connections with likeminded people.

Vaulks told stories about his footballing journey and shared more about the important work he does off the pitch.

The 32-year-old featured in Oxford United’s ‘Can We Talk?’ campaign and is an ambassador for Baton of Hope, a charity which raises awareness for suicide prevention.

On his visit, Vaulks said: “To spend an afternoon getting to know some of Oxford United’s longest supporters was definitely worth it.

As always, it was important to spread the message of suicide prevention alongside hopefully some enjoyable stories from my career to date.”

The Manor Club returns on Wednesday 3 December with special guest Mark Sale – tickets are priced £7 and can be purchased online, in person or over the phone.

All proceeds from the event will support Oxford United in the Community’s projects and programmes.
