Oxford United Select Community Captain

12-year-old Anuhas has been chosen as our Community Captain for the 2025/26 season.

Anuhas has been chosen as Oxford United’s Community Captain, as part of the Premier League’s More Than A Game campaign.

He is one of 93 Community Captains nominated this season for the positive impact they have had in their local area. A regular attendee at our Premier League Kicks sessions, Anuhas has been selected for consistently showing respect, kindness and maturity, and setting the benchmark for excellent behaviour.

Anuhas is one of over 250 young people supported by Oxford United in the Community through Premier League Kicks sessions across Oxfordshire thanks to Premier League investment.

Ahead of Oxford United’s match against Charlton Athletic on Saturday 14 March, Peter Rhoades-Brown presented Anuhas with his award pitchside at the Kassam Stadium. Watch the moment it happened HERE.
