Jack Currie met our Advanced Football programme to share advice from his career.

The Oxford United defender inspired students by sharing stories from his career as part of a resilience workshop delivered to our Advanced Football programme.

The course is open to boys and girls aged 16 to 18 and allows students to study full time for a sports qualification with Abingdon & Witney College whilst training with Oxford United in the Community.

The team trains weekly at the Oxford United Training Centre and, ahead of their afternoon session on Monday, Jack took the time to join programme lead Rob Porter for the workshop.

The 24-year-old talked through his football journey, giving advice on overcoming setbacks and responding to constructive criticism, before answering questions from the students.
