Goodrham and Sibley surprise holiday camp

30th October 2025

Kids at our Oxford holiday camp were surprised with a visit from Tyler Goodrham and Louie Sibley.

The Oxford United First Team players visited The Oxford Academy on Monday to take part in a Q&A and sign autographs before joining the teams for a football tournament.

The players shared stories of their footballing journey and answered questions about their childhood idols and more.

Following the visit, Sibley said: “We’re always happy to visit and we could see how excited the kids were.

“It’s nice to come down and tell them what we get up to everyday and what it’s like to be a footballer.”

Taking place during school holidays, Oxford United in the Community runs holiday camps for boys and girls of all abilities from ages five to 13.

The programme aims to inspire children to improve their health and wellbeing, along with their technical ability of playing football.

Speaking on the visit from Goodrham and Sibley, coach Rob Porter said: “Player visits are incredibly impactful for our holiday camp participants. They are a chance for them to meet, ask questions to, and get autographs from the players they watch.

“For young Oxford United supporters to play with their heroes is something that I’m sure they were telling their parents about, and they’ll be telling their school friends next week.”
